Hello and welcome to the Parkstone YC Merlin Rocket Fleet..

If you've got this far then you probably already sail a Merlin Rocket or are thinking about sailing one and you'll know that they are one of the most versatile, brilliant and exciting racing dinghies on the water today.

Here at Parkstone we've a growing fleet of boats that race regularly and when off the water the crews take part in an active social programme that is organised and kept going throughout the year by the fleet members. All Merlin sailors are welcome to join in the social.

The Merlin is the perfect performance boat for Poole harbour. Unlike the Asymmetric dinghies the Merlin can sail much deeper angles off wind making good use of the sailing area available (useful when the tide is low)  which opens up many more tactical options providing for some exciting and close racing.
