The Parkstone Topper Fleet is one of the most popular at Parkstone yacht club. We provide excellent single handed 'one-design' dinghy racing on Sunday mornings and lot's of fun on Friday evenings in the summer too! Sunday racing is run alongside the other youth classes starting from the club platform. The fleet captain also organises club training/coaching days as well as encouraging our young sailors to participate in the open training events run by the ITCA and RYA (see links page).

Background:
Toppers are fun boats; being built from polypropylene it is almost indestructible! Which means that parents can stay cool and calm while their children enjoy learning to sail and race without fear of expensive repairs?
Typically Topper sailors are aged from 10 to 17 and it’s an ideal stepping stone between the AB and the Laser 4.7 / Radial.
If it capsizes there is no worry because it can be righted by children as young as 6 or 7!
PYC Toppers race on Sunday mornings and have fun on Friday evenings!
