As the sponsors of
the racing this weekend, Sunday 21st September, I thought we would send
a reminder about the event PYRA has planned.
It promises to be a
Fun Day with three short races back to back in the Bay followed by a social get
together in the bar at Parkstone Yacht Club with sponsored drinks courtesy of
Gentle Dentistry and prizegiving. Prizes will be awarded, how and to whom, will
be revealed on the day but you will have to be there to receive them!
Visiting PYRA boats
are welcome to raft up on the hammer heads at the northern end of the marina for
a short stay. If these are taken, radio the marina for an available
space.
Bacon butties are
also going to be available in the morning and hot meals will be available in the
club house from 3pm.
Even the weather
gods look like they might keep the high pressure in situ until Sunday so dig out
the sun cream.
