Power Boat Level 2 Courses

This course follows the RYA syllabus and covers driving skills for powerboats such as the club RIBs and Nelsons. The course includes basic navigation, collision regulations (IRPCS) and pilotage. The club can award this certificate with a coastal endorsement for candidates demonstrating the appropriate level of skill and knowledge in these areas.

To drive a club boat you must hold a qualification of at least this level.

Courses generally take place over a weekend, all day saturday and sunday. The courses have a significant practical content.
Courses are also run in other formats, especially over evenings in the summer.
