High Performance fleet for Poole Harbour
Parkstone and Poole Yacht Clubs are pleased to announce the 4th year of a joint High Performance racing fleet for 2009.
The fleet is an open class for all high performance dinghies rated at the PY of a 29'er (924) or faster.
2009 Racing will be Sunday afternoon racing organised by Parkstone YC.
We are also pleased to announce the 3rd year running of the Parkstone YC Bay Race for the POWERMANN Trophy and a £100 Quay West Chandlers Gift Voucher. To be raced on Sunday 30th August 2009 starting from inside Poole Harbour and going out into the bay, reound two marks, to give a windward/leeward course, and back to a finish in Poole harbour.
The fleet is increasing in size and variety each year with the recent introduction of foiling Moths, a foiling RS600 and 3 49ers. More boats are very welcome - call Mike Pascall on 07721 641080 anytime.
