Club Launch Service 2012
The Club launch Parkstone Pearl (maximum capacity 12 passengers) provides a service ferrying members to and from their moorings during the Sailing season.
April 1st to September 30th
The launch, manned by a member of the yard staff, departs from the end of 'A' pontoon at the following times:
Monday to Wednesday: Hourly 09:00 to 16:00
Thursday and Friday: Hourly 09:00 to 19:00
Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays: Hourly 09:00 to 18:00
This service is extended by volunteer coxswains (commencing Easter Sunday 7th April 2012) on
Sundays and Bank Holiday evenings: 19:00 and 20:00
(the 2000hrs service may be cancelled during the short evenings due to bad light)
1st to 28th October
On weekdays there will be trips daily at 09.00, 10:00, 12.00, 14.00 and 16.00hrs.
This service is extended by volunteer coxwains in October at weekends as follows:
Saturdays and Sundays: 09.00, 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 14.00, 15.00, 16:00, 17:00hrs
Members afloat may summon the service by calling 'Parkstone Pearl' on Channel 37,
or alternatively by making prior arrangement with the coxswain on the outward trip. |
