Boat Duties
Saturdays
Report to bosun's cabin,
opposite the Marina Office at ¾ hr before first race which is for Darts which
start at 1345hrs, ie turn up at 1300hrs.
Consult board to see which
rescue boat is allocated to Cruisers.
Sign out rescue boat -
folders in Bosun's Cabin.
Collect keys, container
(with safety bits, charts etc), and hand held radio if stated in
folder.
Go out on the water and
call up “Parkstone Platform” for instructions.
Duty will end when you are
dismissed by the race officer, approx last race start plus
2hrs
ie Assymetric = 1425 +
0200 approx 1630.
Lock up Rescue
boat
Return equipment to
Bosun's Cabin and sign off rescue boat.
Wednesdays
all as Saturday

Report at approx 1815 –
0045 = 1730
End approx 1840 + 0200 =
2030
