adidas Poole Week

This summer, Parkstone Yacht Club is once again hosting Poole Week, an action-packed six-day regatta offering class racing for all dinghies and small keel boats.

Taking place Sunday 27th August to Friday 1st September 2017, Poole Week offers a great opportunity to experience some of the best sailing on the south coast in the beautiful surroundings of Poole Harbour.

Racing will be offered for:

  • Wayfarers

  • Lasers

  • Flying Fifteens

  • Cornish Shrimpers

  •  X One Designs

  • Poole Dolphins

  • RS200 and 2.4mR.

  • Handicaps

If your class is not listed above you will be offered racing if 6 or more enter. Otherwise you will be included in an appropriate handicap fleet

We offer a  mixture of racing formats in our beautiful harbour. Some courses may involve marks in Poole Bay opposite the world renowned Bournemouth, Studland or Sandbanks Beaches.

You and your family will be warmly welcomed to Parkstone Yacht Club.There will be plenty to keep non-sailing members of the family entertained throughout the week, daily fun prizegiving, post-sailing entertainment, food and drink.

Entries for Poole Week 2017 are now open. Every competitor receives:

  • Daily drinks voucher and

  • Supper on the first night

  • Daily raffle prizes at Prizegiving

  • Bermuda themed Party Night

Take advantage of an early-bird discounted entry fee if you enter by 8th  May 2017.

Local attractions including award-winning beaches, the Jurassic coast, the New Forest and Monkey World to name a few, are just some of the reasons that people enjoy holidaying in Poole and return to compete in Poole Week year after year.
