Alice is our General Manager. She works Mondays to Fridays but can often be found in the Office if there is a large event on at the club. You can find her in the main office behind reception. Alice is responsible for the day to day running of the club and all of the staff. If there is anything that you feel needs attention please let her know - either by email or dropping in to the Office.

Brendan works Monday to Friday, running the Marina and Yard, and he is ably assisted by Tanya. You can find them both in the Haven and Sailing Office next to the training rooms. Between the two of them, we aim for 7 day a week cover for all your Haven needs. Brendan also manages the yard team under Jason, coordinating the berthing list, the haul-outs / lift-outs and additional work that the yard staff offer. In the Summer, Brendan also looks after our Pearl Drivers. Lastly, Brendan also deputises for the General Manager in their absence.

Cathy is full-time but comes in later and stays later during the day – she often bridges the gap between the daytime staff leaving and the evening staff arriving in the winter. Cathy is assisted by Tracey and Courtney in the main office, dealing with Invoices, Payments, Payroll & Accounts.

Neil is our executive head chef. You can find Neil in the kitchen, usually Wednesdays to Sundays (event and season dependent). He plans and cooks the menus for sailor’s suppers, a la carte dining and canapes for various cocktail parties. Neil is assisted in the kitchen by Oscar and Fil.

Charlie works for us part time, Monday to Wednesday. He manages our maintenance and gas / electric contracts as well as monitoring and maintaining the clubhouse. He runs the fault reporting section of the website, where if you notice something that is not right you can fill in a form and he will sort it out!

Helen works full time in the main office. She has two hats which she wears for the club. Her first hat is as membership manager. She works tirelessly managing the new member requests, the interview process and communications. Her other hat is the systems manager. Looking after the IT systems for the club, as well as our website. Helen also manages the reception team.

The Sailing Manager is Phil. He is also our Chief Instructor. As you can imagine, this is a full-time role and he works mostly during the week but can also occasionally be found at the weekends, dependent on the schedule of open events. Phil is a home-grown talent starting out as a Pearl driver, then working as a bosun before being promoted this year. Phil is assisted by Chris in the Sailing Office and also looks after the Bosun team.

Chrissy is our Hospitality manager and runs all things events in the club. Chrissy works for us full time and works Wednesday – Sunday. As well as planning, instigating, and managing the events she also provides a senior management presence during the weekend hours, as well as locking up on occasion. Chrissy is assisted by Meme and they both work out of the main office behind reception.

Matt is our Bar and Restaurant Manager, originally hired to look after the bar he has done such a good job that we have expanded his role to look after the restaurant staff as well. Matt looks after all our hourly paid members of staff and is assisted by Lucy and Nikki on the permanent staff team.
